About Nate Datt

Born to veterinarians David and Vicki in 1994, my family moved to the Twin Cities area in 2002, and I grew up around lots of animals, and nature, and books, when I had to be indoors. My vivid imagination led me to illustration early on, and I later developed a true passion for art and design in my high school’s excellent program.

I enrolled at the University of Wisconsin - Stout with a major in Graphic Design, and graduated in December of 2017 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. After graduating I took a job on the marketing team of Farrell Equipment & Supply, and came to head the print marketing for the company’s various locations, before leaving to work as a freelance Graphic Designer & Artist for several years. I supported myself throughout the COVID-19 pandemic developing brands, building or redesiging websites, and creating marketing materials and signage for small businesses and nonprofit organizations from Wisconsin to New York.

More recently I have taken a position in Minneapolis, on a marketing team auxiliary of the Target Field and Target Center, although I am always happy to do a little freelance art or design work if requested.
